I don't think it was fair because they had no witness for Charlie only Horrible Hanley who made up lies to make it worse.

Charlie’s court martial is unfair because Horrible Hanley had it in for him and Hanley’s point of view was the only one they had. They also didn’t let anyone speak up for him.

I definitely don’t believe his court martial was fair because the order he didn’t obey was a suicide mission and would have gotten him an Tommo killed. Also Tommo was very injured so he wouldn’t be able to go with him, and Charlie would never leave Tommo behind.

I think Charlie’s court martial is unfair because he was trying to take care of Tommo, not as if he didn’t want to go. Also the people supporting the court martial only took the commands of Horrible Hanley, not anyone else.

I think his Court Martial is unfair because he just wanted to stay with Tommo and fight in the dark and he was trying to help Tommo. He would never leave Tommo behind anyway.

I don’t think Charlie’s court isn’t fair because the reason he stayed in the trench is because he knew it would be suicidal and because he refused to leave Tommo.

Charlie’s court martial is unfair because he was helping people and Tommo and he and Tommo was going to leave at dark to get out of no man's land and back to their ditches to get to safety ands get Tommo to the hospital.

ReplyDelete1.I do not think Charlies court martial was fair. If I was the company's captain, I would award Charlie with a medal of bravery because he stayed back behind enemy lines to support a fallen soldier.
